Morris Custy – GARY
Morris first teamed up with Bret MacDonald and Erik Mockus in 2012 where he starred in their award winning short film Mail Mo. A cook by day, Morris is a natural actor who has since starred in several short films in the Montreal area. As GARY, Mo has been given the opportunity to refine his subtle acting technique where ``Less is more``.
Kelly Van der Burg – SANDY
Growing up on a farm in rural Ontario has given Kelly the experience to perfectly embody the role of SANDY, a countrified songbird who is married to her high school sweetheart Gary. It also helps that Kelly graduated from Bishop's University with an Honours Degree in Drama and has since gone on to receive much attention in the Toronto theatre community with her recent performances in a film noir adaptation of Hamlet and the fantastical A Midsummer Nightmare. Not to mention her roles in two award winning short films, Hole and Mail Mo. While not acting, Kelly makes up one third of the popular indie band Midnight Vesta.
Ginny Pocket MacDonald – GINNY
A student of method acting, Ginny MacDonald immersed herself in the role of GINNY for several months before principal photography on The Game Warden began. A loving and gentle Bullmastiff-Dogue de Bordeaux mix, Ginny was adopted by Bret MacDonald and his wife in 2014 from Ivy Roads Rescue in Ottawa. She’s a good girl.
Joey Dineen - CARL
Joey Dineen, originally from New Jersey has performed in numerous "OFF BROADWAY" productions in New York such as the revival of "Enter Laughing" with Joey Faye and Estelle Harris. "Chorus Girls on Mars" directed by Jim Fall. Joey also studied under Uta Hagan in New York City. Since moving to Montreal he has appeared in many "Lakeshore Players" and "Hudson Village Theatre" productions, amongst others.
Alexander Wheill – STEVE
Alex began pretending to act in the 80s by making makeshift home movie parodies of genuine films. In the late 80s he participated in various college Super8 productions, one of which won him recognition as Best Motionless Performance during a stop-motion sequence. In the early 90s after launching his own record company he continued to act in a few DIY video productions for friends while also working on various soundtrack scores for shorts and two television serials. Music and sound production remained his predominant passion and after scoring the short "Mulla Xull" in 2012, Alex began anew pursuing acting.

Kim is a Canadian film, theatre and television actress from London, Ontario.
Bill Hook – DAN
Bill is a multidisciplinary artist, painter, filmmaker, playwright and actor. Bill grew up in Victoria, British Columbia where he was his high school's star hockey player before heading north to work as a lumberjack. Bill has appeared in a vast amount of feature films and television shows.
Raphael Santarossa – PATRICK
Raphael is a Montréal native who spent his youth between Montréal and NYC studying theatre and music, lucky enough to translate his passions into a career. With experience in film, television and radio he now concentrates his efforts in Voice acting and developing new businesses. Having worked with Bret and Erik on their award winning short film Mail Mo it was an honour and pleasure to lend himself to their new project.
Bret MacDonald – WRITER / PRODUCER
Bret's been making films with Erik ever since graduating from film school in 2008 and hasn't looked back. The Game Warden marks the duo's first feature after each writing and directing their own short films that went on to win numerous awards, Bret's being the dramedy Mail Mo (www.mailmothemovie.com) . A combination of their love for indie films and folk music, The Game Warden took Bret, Erik and their star Bill Hook over a year to shoot over week-ends, holidays and any free time they could find.
Erik Mockus – DIRECTOR
Erik is a montréal filmmaker, musician and an old hat.
